Philips Respironics DreamStation AVAPS Device

The Philips Respironics DreamStation AVAPS is a bilevel pressure support device designed with automated pressure-adjustment capabilities and a compact, lightweight form factor. The device features an intuitive interface with a full-color LCD display for simplified navigation and access to operational data.

The DreamStation AVAPS utilizes Average Volume Assured Pressure Support (AVAPS) technology to automatically adjust pressure output within configured parameters. Pressure delivery is supported up to 30 cm H₂O, allowing the system to adapt dynamically to changing airflow conditions during operation.

Despite its advanced functionality, the DreamStation AVAPS maintains a travel-friendly design consistent with other DreamStation models.

Heated Humidification

The device includes an integrated heated humidifier designed to support consistent humidity output. Dry-box technology helps minimize the risk of internal moisture accumulation. Two humidity modes are available: Standard and Adaptive, allowing humidity levels to be adjusted based on operating conditions.

Optional Heated Tubing

Optional heated tubing is available to support stable humidity delivery throughout the system. Multiple temperature settings allow configuration based on user preference and environmental conditions.

Data Tracking and Storage

The DreamStation AVAPS includes built-in data tracking capabilities to record operational metrics. Data can be stored internally or via an SD card for retrieval and review. Bluetooth connectivity allows optional access through compatible Philips Respironics software platforms, where supported.

Digital Auto-Trak Technology

Digital Auto-Trak technology supports responsive pressure delivery by adjusting trigger and cycle sensitivity in real time. This system is designed to adapt to airflow changes and system resistance during operation.
